THE RIVER CITY QUARTET
If quartet singing Southern Style is your cup of tea, you need to get acquainted with The River City Quartet.
Hailing from Henderson, Kentucky, this group has talent, commitment, youth, experience and more to ensure that when you attend a personal appearance by the group, it will be an event you won’t soon forget.
Greg Lindsey sings the baritone and serves as emcee for the group. He is not only a singer, but is also an accomplished songwriter, having written songs for many groups, including The Dove Brothers, The Greesons,The Northmen,Southern Sound, The Patriot Quartet,Jubilation and Rod Barton.
Taking the lead position is Greg’s 18 year-old son, Seth Lindsey. Don't be fooled by his youth, however, because this young man believes with all his heart in the importance of the Gospel message he brings to the audience, and it shows in every song.
Mark Ross is one of the finest tenor singers to be found anywhere. He has a strong commitment to sing for Christ and the life he lives bears out his testimony.
Jamie Layton is the newest member of River City. He along with his wife Pam and son Zack, reside in Carmi IL. Jamie is a wonderful Christian man and his love for the Lord shows in every song he sings. Jamie possess one of the finest bass voices you will find anywhere, River City feels very fortunate to have found him.
The group’s latest project is Glimpse of Glory. Whether on CD, on the radio or live in concert, River City strives to make known the truth of a new life in Christ.
